Privacy policy

Enzymit, Inc. and its affiliates (“Enzymit”) are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how Enzymit collects, uses, stores, and discloses information in connection with your use of the Enzymit Software.

1. Information Collected

Enzymit collects the following categories of information when you access or use the Enzymit Software: (i) Email Address – collected upon registration or access to the Enzymit Software; (ii) Usage Data – including logs of all activity within the Enzymit Software; (iii) Protein Sequences and Results – including all protein sequences submitted by you and all results generated by the Enzymit Software; and (iv) Technical Information – including, without limitation, IP address, device information, browser type, and operating system.

2. Use of Information

The information collected may be used by Enzymit for the following purposes: (a) to operate, maintain, and improve the Enzymit Software; (b) to provide you with the Results and services you request; (c) to conduct academic and commercial research and development activities; (d) to monitor, secure, and analyze the performance and use of the Enzymit Software; (e) to communicate with you regarding service updates, support, or administrative notices; and (f) to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and enforce Enzymit’s rights under these Terms of Service.

3. Sharing of Information

Enzymit may disclose collected information: (i) to its employees, affiliates, consultants, and contractors who require such information in order to operate or improve the Enzymit Software; (ii) to third-party service providers engaged to provide hosting, analysis, or security services; (iii) as required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; and (iv) in connection with any merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets of Enzymit. Enzymit does not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

Enzymit will retain email addresses, activity records, Protein Sequences, and Results for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Enzymit Software, comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, and enforce its agreements.

5. Security

Enzymit implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect collected information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Notwithstanding, you acknowledge and agree that no security measures are absolute, and Enzymit does not guarantee the complete security of any information.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to: (i) request access to, or a copy of, the personal information that Enzymit holds about you; (ii) request correction or deletion of such personal information; (iii) object to or restrict the processing of such personal information; or (iv) withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise such rights, you may contact Enzymit at info@enzymit.com. Enzymit will use reasonable efforts to respond in accordance with applicable law.

7. International Transfers

You acknowledge and agree that your information may be transferred to, and stored and processed in, jurisdictions outside of your country of residence, including Israel and other locations where Enzymit and its service providers operate.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Enzymit reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on http://stabilize.enzymit.com with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Enzymit Software following such changes shall constitute your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
